Searching for an email in Gmail is now much easier and faster
The search process in Gmail has been updated. Thanks to this, it is now much easier and faster to find an email in the Google service.
Gmail is one of the most popular and widely used email services in the world. It has already accumulated 16 years of service behind it, and brings together a series of characteristics that have allowed it to increase its user base year after year. It offers many interesting features, is very easy to use, and integrates seamlessly with other Google services, making it one of the preferred alternatives for users.
However, this does not mean that Gmail is perfect. As with any other service, there are many aspects that could be improved, and the Mountain View company is constantly working on its optimization. Thanks to this, today we can enjoy recent Gmail functions that are very useful, such as the possibility of canceling the sending of an email or scheduling the sending for later.
Now Google has announced a new update to Gmail that will make your life much easier. The Big G has improved Gmail search, so finding the email you are looking for will from now on be faster and easier.
But what exactly has changed? As Google explains, when you search for an email address in Gmail, now it will show you all the emails associated with that specific address and the aliases of which it is part. These results will be extracted from the To, From, CC, and BCC fields, or anywhere in the email.
Therefore, thanks to this update, when you are looking for a message it will not be necessary to remember all the aliases of a person, since the system will automatically identify them for you.
In case you did not know, email aliases are alternate addresses for the same account They use the same inbox, contact list, and settings, but with a different address. So, for example, you can use one nickname for work and another for friends and family.
This Gmail update is now active for all Google Workspace users.
