Trailer for ‘Cruella’: Disney reformulates one of its classic villains with a film halfway between ‘Maleficent’ and ‘Birds of prey’

The film will hit theaters on May 28 if it does not undergo any of the changes that so many 2021 premieres are experiencing due to the pandemic. In any case, will tell of the origins of Cruella with a very special setting: London in the late seventies, which will perhaps make the city’s punk explosion inspire his clothing. The first featured poster for the film, with Emma’s “A” circled, leaves little doubt in that regard.

It is not the first time that Cruella leaves the world of animation: Glenn Close already brought it to life in the two very funny live-action versions of the animated filmn with which Disney anticipated the avalanche of adaptations that would arrive a few years later.
