Also known as ‘perpetual version’, Office 2021 it will run offline and will not require a browser to use. This is an alternative contemplated for users who do not want to purchase a subscription.
In addition to this, it is intended for people who do not have access to the internet permanently. The company seeks to make Office accessible despite being in places with no stable connection.
Among other enhancements, it will include dynamic arrays and XLookUp in Excel, as well as enhancements for Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Despite its novelties, it will be a version similar to Office 2019 in its operation and interface.

The company seeks to make Office accessible despite being in places without stable connection
The version of this Office for business is named after Long Term Servicing Channel (LTSC).
Because the LTSC version of Office is intended primarily for business, a commercial preview will be available starting in April this year.
LTSC is intended for companies looking for a stable and supported version, in exchange for a single license and without monthly or annual payments.
The only negative, as users have commented, is that support will only be provided for five years, which represents a decrease from the seven it normally offers.
Although the general price of the products will not increaseYes, there will be a 10% increase in the cost of applications such as Office Professional Plus, Office Standard and individual Office.
For this year Microsoft also plans to introduce a version without subscription and that does not require internet for Windows 10.
