Windows 10 solves one of the big problems of copy and paste functions
Windows 10’s unknown clipboard history will make copying and pasting text easier than ever with an upcoming update.
An action as simple as copying and pasting on our computer can sometimes become a nightmare due to the different formats, making us waste a lot of time adapting a text from the source to the destination document or platform.
You may not have used it much, but Windows 10 has a clipboard history, which you can access by pressing the Windows key + V, so that you can quickly access the texts and images that you have recently copied.
The clipboard history only has three options such as delete, pin or delete everything. Now as they advance from Windowslatest a new option called “paste as plain text” will be included.
Thanks to this, all the text that we rescue and that we have in this history can be pasted in any other place without formatting. As you well know, by default, Windows 10 allows you to paste the text with the keyboard shortcut Control + V that includes the original format, but thanks to the new button that will be included, it will be pasted without formatting.
Another feature that will be added to the Windows clipboard is a new panel of emojis and GIFs that will allow us to insert all these elements, designed more for when we are using social networks or messaging applications through the operating system.
At the moment there is enough for all these news to reach our Windows 10, since they will be present in version 21H2, that is, the update known as Sun Valley that will be available in autumn for a first set of equipment, with what could happen practically a year until you have it established on your computer.
