Launch program to train in skills and digital activism
The Ministry of ICT announced this week the launch of the En TIC Confío + program, which seeks that during this year 1.8 million people, including boys, girls, adolescents, youth and the general public, receive free training in digital skills.
“We are going to reach 1.8 million Colombians in 2021 with more and better educational tools; We will promote pedagogical support strategies that facilitate Colombians to prevent the risks to which we are exposed when we surf the Internet ”, said the ICT Minister, Karen Abudinen.

The project, which has an investment of 7,254 million pesos, includes a series of virtual workshops and some face-to-face meetings to raise awareness about digital environments, how to identify risks in these spaces, and tools to develop digital activism.
“There will be free virtual and face-to-face interaction spaces dictated by ambassadors in the different regions of the country, which explain to minors how to prevent risks associated with grooming, the sexting, cyberbullying and cyberdependence, among others”, Explained the MinTIC.

How to sign up?
Interested persons may apply through the website www.enticconfio.gov.co. On this site, they must fill out a form with personal data, where subsequently the registrants will receive a confirmation email.
