Find X3 Pro, Find X3 Neo y Find X3 Lite, la apuesta top de Oppo para 2021
Oppo surprised everyone last year with the launch of its Oppo Find X2 Pro, a mobile that we really liked when we analyzed it. It was a top mobile in the line of the Galaxy S20 and it sought to adopt that gap that Huawei was leaving due to its problems with Google services in the western market.
This time we see how Oppo has launched a family of three phones with a single configuration of RAM and internal memory each. We have the top model, Find X3 Pro, with Snapdragon 888 processor. There is also the X3 Neo with Snapdragon 865 and the youngest of the family, Find X3 Lite, con Snapdragon 765G.
They are mobiles that arrive with a careful design and highlights, exceedingly, the Find X3 Pro with that molded rear that turns the traditional camera island into a small bump with a gentle slope thanks to the manufacturing process with more than 2,000 control points of the glass back.

Oppo Find X3 Pro: The top mobile of 2021
If you are one of those who are looking for the mobile with the best features on the market, Oppo’s bet with this Find X3 Pro is clear. The best in hardware both SoC and the latest in camera and a brave bet for a microscope camera that we have not seen to date.
This Oppo Find X3 Pro has a contained size, 163.6 x 74 x 8.26 mm, to mount a 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD + 120 Hz screen. It is a 10 bit panel and is compatible with content HDR Dolby Vision y Dolby Atmos thanks to its stereo speaker system. Oppo says that it has a maximum brightness of 1,200 lux, visible even in bright sunlight, and it is something that we will measure in our analysis.
The most interesting thing about this model in terms of design is the back and it is the first time we have seen how the camera part, which always sticks out from the rear, this time comes out delicately, molded and we do not find the typical island.
If we talk about performance, we are facing a smartphone that is not going to leave us lying around during the typical useful life of smartphones today 2-3 years. The Snapdragon 888 is proving to be a very capable chip and the 12 GB of RAM plus the 256 GB of internal UFS memory promise not to slow us down in our day-to-day multitasking.
Something that seems interesting is the camera section since we have a new 50MP IMX766 sensor as the main sensor with a lens that offers aperture f / 1.8. Oppo bets on that same sensor as a wide angle and that gives a clear advantage when switching between both photo modes and that is that the color treatment will be the same in both.
Apart from this, the rear camera is completed with a 3X telephoto sensor with 5X hybrid zoom 13 Mpx and the great news comes with this 3Mpx f / 3 sensor with 60X magnification. Yes yes, it is not a typo. It is a microscope type sensor with a focus practically touching the surface to be photographed.
We do not know, yes, to what extent it will be useful in the day to day or if it will remain like those marketing features that are not used later.
In terms of battery, we are facing a mobile that promises enough to end the day without problems with its 4.500 mAh and, most interestingly, it has support for SuperVOOC 2.0 65 W fast charging and wireless charging up to 30W with AirVOOC. It can also offer Qi charging to other devices.
As we can see, we are facing a top of the range that, if it fulfills everything it promises, it will surely be among the best of 2021.
Oppo Find X3 Neo: the most balanced of the family
If you are looking for a mobile with a good balance between quality and price within the high range, Oppo just presented a mobile for you. This Find X3 Neo is an intermediate step in many features between the Find X2 Pro and the Find X3 Pro.
We are before a mobile that mounts a screen of 6.5 inches FullHD + AMOLED frequently of 90 Hz refresh. It doesn’t quite reach the 120 Hz of its big brother, but it will always be better than a 60 Hz screen.
In terms of dimensions, the screen is noticeable that it is slightly smaller at 159.9 x 72.5 x 7.99 mm and that also seems to influence the weight somewhat, which remains at 184 g. It is a mobile with a more traditional design, it does not have the molded back of the Find X3 Pro and it does sport an island for the cameras.
If we talk about performance, it shares both RAM and storage with the Pro model, that is to say 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB internal storage. It is in the processor where we see that Oppo has decided to mount the Snapdragon 865, last year’s top SoC. In fact, it is the processor that the Find X2 Pro already mounted.
It is still a mobile with 5G connectivity like the Find X3 Pro and the only difference at this point is that it loses eSIM compatibility and you will have to use nanoSIM cards to connect to your carrier’s network. Another connectivity difference is that Bluetooth stays at 5.1 compared to 5.2 that the X3 Pro has.
More differences. Let’s talk about the camera, since although it traces the main sensor of the Pro model, 50 Mpx IMX766 f/1.8, the wide-angle sensor becomes 16 Mpx f / 2.2. It also shares the 13 Mpx f / 2.4 3X telephoto sensor (5x hybrid) and has a 2Mpx f / 2.4 macro sensor, that is, a traditional macro sensor and not the microscope type sensor.
If we talk about autonomy, this mobile mounts a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging support And what it loses to the pro is the wireless charging options.
As we can see, it is a perfect mobile for users looking for a good camera and performance. What’s more, mounts a stereo speaker system that allows the reproduction of Dolby Atmos and its 6.5-inch screen is also a good support for viewing HDR multimedia content.
Oppo Find X3 Lite: the youngest of the family has a lot to say
Having experienced a global pandemic – well, we are working on it – it is true that having cheaper options in the market is always a good alternative since not everyone has more than 800 euros to invest in a new mobile. This is where the Find X3 Lite de Oppo.
It is a mobile that follows the design line of the Oppo Find X3 Neo although with more modest technical specifications. We are talking about a premium mid-range, perfect for the vast majority of users.
In terms of design, we are talking about a more compact mobile. Assemble a screen of 6.44 inches FullHD + AMOLED 90 Hz and that is noticeable in size and weight (159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9mm – 172g). It is perfect to be able to use it with one hand.
The finishes in which it arrives are blue with metallic shine and black for the more traditional users. This mobile has an island in the back where the camera sensors are located and in the front we have an all-screen design with the front camera (32 Mpx f / 2.4 – the same in the whole family) on the screen on the upper left corner.
It should be noted that this mobile has protection against splashes and includes minijack connector so you can use your headphones for a lifetime without the need for adapters.
If we talk about performance here we see how this model mounts a Snapdragon 765G that we already saw last year in several mobiles and it became the standard mid-range processor with integrated 5G connectivity. Is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. This storage is not expandable, as is the case with the rest of the Find X3 family.
Another point where this mobile stands out is its camera and, although it does not share any configuration with the rest of the Find X3 family models, it does have a promising main sensor, at the height of the model Find X2 Pro from last year.
We are talking about a rear camera configuration with four sensors, the main one being 64Mpx f / 1.7, a wide angle of 8Mpx f / 2.2 and then two 2 Mpx f / 2.4 sensors – one macro and the other mono-.
Like its brothers, it has support for facial unlocking and on-screen fingerprint reader and works on Color OS 11.2 (Android 11).
This mobile does not cut back on charging technology, it is still SuperVOOC 2.0 65W and has 4,300 mAh which will surely place a full charge in just over 35-40 minutes.
As we can see, it is a mobile that has ballots if you have a tight budget and want good quality finishes and are looking for a good general behavior both in performance and in autonomy or in camera, without expecting top functions.
Availability and prices of the Oppo Find X3 Pro family
The company has just announced in its global launch that we are facing a family that will reach the market in stages, perhaps due to the chip supply problems that we are experiencing.
The model is expected Oppo Find X3 Pro (12 GB / 256 GB) hit the market during the month of March at a price that will exceed 1,000 euros.
The models Oppo Find X3 Neo (12 GB / 256 GB) Y Oppo Find X3 Lite (8 GB / 128 GB) They are expected to hit the market in the spring at prices of around 800-900 euros for the first and between 400-600 euros for the second.
As we can see, it is a brave bet by Oppo that comes with options for all types of users looking for a premium mid-range mobile onwards.
