The latest feature of Chrome will make you waste less time browsing with your mobile
Google Chrome lets you see the preview of a page before opening it to facilitate navigation and avoid deceptive websites.
When it comes to browsing with the mobile through Google Chrome, there is going to be a novelty that can be very interesting to avoid pages that are excessively heavy or do not fit what the user is looking for. The option of preview has started to be seen on some devices and is very useful.
The novelty has been seen in 9to5Google, where it is verified that the function is activated in a very simple way, it is enough to click on a link to open the usual menu with options What Open in new tab The Copy the url, then a new line will appear which in English just looks like Preview Page.
This preview overlays a window with the page on almost the entire screen. You cannot browse it, only view it as an image. The user will close it whenever he wants and will decide if he wants to enter or continue by another path.
Not only does it save time, it also avoid falling into some pages that overload the device with jumping videos or malware. The preview is just an image, it doesn’t load the elements it has, and it does it very quickly.
Here you can see this preview, on the left we have indicated the button in the capture made by 9to5Google and to the right how this advance appears.
Reportedly Google has worked on this feature for more than two years before launching it and it is possible that it changes the navigation in some way and reduces the visits in those websites that use deceptive baits to acquire traffic.
This new feature is coming to mobile next to the update to Chrome 89 which began rolling out last week, although it will be rolled out gradually. In a few days all users will have it available, but you can always manually update your browser via Google Play.
