Telegram and Instagram test similar format to ClubHouse
ClubHouse in recent weeks has gained great popularity and is emerging as one of the great social networks in the future. The application works through audio format and It allows its users to have rooms where they can talk about different topics.
In less than a year of creation, the platform has already surpassed the 11 million users and it is valued at more than a billion dollars, although it is only enabled for the moment for iOS, Apple’s operating system, and an invitation is required to use it.

It seems that the success of the app has led other social networks and platforms to seek to include voice channels to offer an option to simulate ClubHouse to its users. Twitter announced late last year the launch of ‘Spaces’, a feature that allows people to share voice messages between multiple accounts, giving the opportunity to have conversations with up to 10 users simultaneously.
Recently It was also known that Telegram and Instagram are already conducting tests to add the audio service.

The specialized platform WABetaInfo published that the instant messaging application Telegram, which this year exceeded 500 million active users, is conducting tests to add voice channels, which are tested so far under the name of ‘Voice Chat’. No further details are known about this novelty, nor what the number of participants will be.
On the other hand, Instagram, the social network belonging to Facebook and which in the past has incorporated other popular functions from other platforms such as ‘Stories’, inspired by the Snapchat format, and ‘Reels’, simulating services from TikTok, is conducting trials to incorporate shared audio rooms to a small group of users.
