Telegram is again ahead of WhatsApp with the new Clubhouse-style audio rooms
Telegram is working on a feature that would release the audio rooms on the information channels, and its availability could be very close.
During the last few months, different social networks have proliferated, either newly created or that are now beginning to be more popular, and that are changing the landscape by putting giants like Twitter or WhatsApp on the ropes, which are not exactly apps that release the news very quickly.
One of the weak points of WhatsApp and Twitter is that the news takes a long time to implement, and that makes other applications such as Telegram take advantage of it by launching functions to get ahead of their main competitors. Now as they advance from Wabetainfo, Telegram is going to implement audio rooms for its channels, a feature that also seems to be on its way to Instagram.
If the function finally arrives, channel administrators will be able to create voice chats with a new option that would appear on the interface. To activate it, the user will simply have to go to the description of the channel to which it belongs, and give the corresponding option to participate in this type of audio room.

The best of all is that the administrator will have greater freedom being able to choose whether to use your personal account or the channel’s own in these Clubhouse-inspired audio chats.
If this functionality is finally included, which is already available in the groups although with a somewhat different approach, Telegram would once again anticipate WhatsApp in new features.
It is unknown when the audio rooms in channels would be on Telegram, but considering that it is an app that receives important updates almost monthly, we could not rule out that we will have it available in the next few days.
