Energy, loans and now also remote healthcare: Yoigo launches DoctorGO, its exclusive telemedicine service for clients
The MásMóvil Group has chosen Yoigo to expand its portfolio of services. Through the operator has launched a finance, energy, home security and device insurance service, and now add one more to your portfolio: DoctorGO, a telemedicine service for its clients that comes to compete with Movistar Health.
It is a general health care service by chat or video call for which Yoigo has partnered with ChironHealth as a health expert, Meeting Doctors as a technology partner and Europ Assistance for sending medicines home. Its cost will be six euros a month for the whole family and will be exclusive to private Yoigo clients. A three-month trial period is offered and there is no commitment to stay.
As explained from the operator, DoctorGO “represents Yoigo’s entry into digital telemedicine services in a differential way”, since combines it with face-to-face care under exclusive conditions for its clients. The service will be marketed and offered under this new brand, DoctorGo, and offers different advantages for private users of the operator. These include:
- “Access in less than 2 minutes and 24 hours a day to general medical attention through chat and video call.
- Immediate access to a panel of professionals from nine specialties of medicine and well-being in working or extended hours to whom you can make inquiries through the chat integrated into the app through which you can send images to deepen your queries.
- Remote issuance of electronic prescriptions by medical professionals for prescribed medications, saving any additional paperwork.
- Telepharmacy: free delivery of medicines to customers’ homes in case of need “.
In addition to these remote services, DoctorGO offers face-to-face care under “advantageous conditions”, such as access to the services of the Quirónsalud network “under exclusive conditions”, consultations and face-to-face diagnostic tests, emergency care and “diagnostic tests for COVID-19 with discounted prices”, including tests at home.
As explained by the MásMóvil Group, the company has signed an agreement with Quirónsalud, which will be the one who will make available to users a staff of 300 doctors dedicated solely to remote care and the network of 150 centers. After the consultation via the app, we can decide to go to the public health or a private center. In the case of opting for a Quirón center, the client will receive a discount in the consultation.
The service, which will be accessed from an app, has a single rate of six euros per month (without permanence) that includes coverage for the family nucleus, that is, two adults, regardless of relationship, and an unlimited number of inquiries for less at your expense. It can be contracted from the app and in the Yoigo and MASlife stores and a three-month trial period is offered.
