These are the cell phones that will not have WhatsApp support
WhatsApp, one of the most used applications in the world, with more than 2 billion active users, will no longer have support for some cell phones, in which it can no longer be downloaded and you will lose your access to this service.
As announced by the application, the latest version of WhatsApp (2.21.50) needs iOS 10 onwards to work. That is, those devices that have iOS 9 or earlier will no longer be able to download it and will lose their access to this popular messaging application.

This means that it will be discontinued on a large number of iPhones.
In this way, users who have an iPhone 4S or lower will not be able to continue updating WhatsApp, since they do not meet the minimum operating system requirements required by the application, which will no longer be operating on these phones.
This does not imply that, overnight, users who do not have the latest version of the ‘app’ installed will no longer have access to the application. However, with the passage of time, when not being able to access the new updates, the application will begin to give problems and, in the end, it will definitely stop working.
For those who have iPhone 5 or later, it is advisable to update to the most recent version, which in the case of the iPhone 5 is iOS 10.3.4, which will continue to have WhatsApp support.
