Platzi platform will allow you to take your courses free for 48 hours
This Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27, the Platzi online education platform will open its doors to take all the courses it offers freely. In these 48 hours, users will be able to access more than 700 courses that are distributed in areas such as personal finance, digital marketing, business, e-commerce, programming and software development, English, video games, design and Ux, mathematics, soft skills, among many others.
The tools and knowledge provided by the platform promise to promote the professional development of those who access its courses, since according to figures from this Latin American company, 20% of the students create their own company and the 70% double their income after obtaining the certificate for specializing in one of the hundreds of study topics that Platzi offers.

This educational community provides an online learning experience through videos and interactive lessons, which are currently available in three languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese. But videos are not just videos, because teachers are recognized leaders in their respective industries, who focus on making their classes practical, as well as the most labor-intensive skills.
Users who manage to complete the courses they obtain the corresponding certificate. In addition, the platform provides advice for the student to establish a personalized learning path according to their needs. Forums, live mentoring, study groups and classes are held at times that are adjusted to each student.

Platzi was founded in 2014 by Colombian engineer Freddy Vega and Guatemalan computer scientist Christian Van Der Henst. In addition to being an online education platform, it has also created training courses for employees of various corporations such as Microsoft, IBM, Facebook and Google. In 2019 Platzi managed to exceed one million active students. According to 2018 figures, the students were mainly from Mexico, Colombia, Spain and the United States.

The platform has been the recipient of several national and international awards: in 2015 it was recognized as the first Latin American company in YCombinator, for 2016 it was selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs (Madrid ISP). Likewise, in 2017 it was awarded as the official EdTech Platform for the Government of Colombia, in 2018 it won the entrepreneur of the year award and the award for the best education start-up. And, on top of that, in 2019 they won the award ‘Founders’ of the year in Colombia, as well as the recognition ‘only official partners in Spanish’ from Unity and Facebook.
