The changes that WhatsApp prepares for calls and video calls
WhatsApp does not stop with its updates and plans for the incorporation of new tools and functions. This time it was known that the instant messaging application is testing options to improve calls within the platform.
The specialized portal WABetainfo indicated that in the update 188.8.131.52 there is a new interface when making voice and video calls. This is very similar to the one that Apple’s Facetime service has, which allows you to find more quickly at the bottom the buttons to activate the speaker, turn off or turn on the microphone and hang up the call.

The other novelty is the incorporation of ‘Ring’ button, which apparently would allow calling other users to join the communication.
On the other hand, the platform brings changes in group calls, with the improvement, users will be able to join a call, even when it has already started.
In the event that the person has not been able to answer the communication, when entering the application again, they will be notified that the call is still in progress and will give them the possibility to join quickly, no need for participants to add it again.

For that, the user will find when entering the platform a banner with the ‘Tap to Join’ buttonLikewise, in the group chat you will find the option ‘Join the call’.
At the moment, WhatsApp is testing these updates for the iOS version, but it is expected that it will also be incorporated soon in devices with Android operating system.
