Microsoft 365 will increase its rates by 2022, and it will be the largest increase in the last ten years: these are the new prices
Microsoft 365 is going to get considerably more expensive from March 2022, with increases in its different rates of up to 20%, as reported in a note, which is the largest price increase for professional products from those in Redmond, Washington, in the last decade.
Microsoft You have specified the increments that will occur in your various 365 plans, albeit in dollars: Microsoft 365 Business Basic, $ 5-6 per month per user; Microsoft 365 Business Premium $ 20-22 per month per user; Office 365 E1, $ 8-10; Office 365 E3, $ 20-23, Office 365 E5, $ 35-38, and Microsoft 365 E3, $ 32-36.
Those in Redmond explain that the increases will take place globally and will be tailored to local market prices. They have also specified that the increase will apply only to packages for companies, so they will maintain the current price for individuals and educational products.
Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft 365, justifies this increase in cost by the increase in tools and functions available in its professional product suite.: “It reflects the added value that we have given to our customers in the last ten years.” And he emphasizes that since this product package was presented, they have added 24 applications – including Teams or Power BI – and launched more than 1,400 new features in communication and collaboration, security and artificial intelligence and automation.
Phone calls in Teams
Microsoft has taken advantage of the announcement of the price increase to inform of a new feature for Teams available from today, dial-up video calls from this app. With this new capacity, users of the tool will be able to connect to meetings with a conventional phone call, without the need for a camera or stable internet access.
“Unlimited dial-up access provides peace of mind that users they will be able to join their Microsoft Teams meetings from virtually any device, regardless of their location, while they are on the move and without worrying about possible bad connection problems ”, explains Spataro.
