Instagram and Facebook can combine view counts in Stories
Without boasting, o Instagram seems to be studying the accounting of views of your stories with “spectators” on Facebook. The change was shared by expert Ahmed Ghanem on his account on Twitter, last Thursday (13), without revealing many details about its launch, implementation or functioning.
As illustrated in the screenshot shared by Ghanem, it is possible to observe that the viewing statistics of Stories on Instagram received a new section, called “Facebook Viewers”, which must account for the performance of posts shared simultaneously on both platforms by the user. Thus, it can even be suggested that the change should apply to everyone in the future, but it will only appear for users who activate their respective option at the time of publication.
Furthermore, the presence of shortcuts can be noted in the image to reveal more individual settings for each viewer and send a direct message.
Now if you cross post your Instagram story to Facebook you can see both views in Instagram@MattNavarra pic.twitter.com/Reb6K9YLC5
