Google Play Games for Windows is now available
The wait is over, Google Play Games is now available on desktop computers and laptops with Microsoft’s operating system.
At the presentation of Windows 11, many new features were shown that, unfortunately, did not come with the launch of the new version of the operating system for Microsoft computers. Among all these novelties was the supposed compatibility of android games with computer software.
And, it is that, Google Play Games was going to be brought to desktop computers and laptops with Microsoft operating system. The commitment to a convergent way of consuming content is very interesting, but we have had to wait until today to see this Google proposal in action.
However, don’t get your hopes up. Google Play Games has just launched its beta version for only three countries. These territories are South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.. The reason why Google has decided that these are the countries that will first test Android games on Windows computers is completely unknown.
The beta for Google Play Games for PC is now available! Google announced the beta test in January for three markets (Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan), and I’m told it recently went live. Here’s a video showing the PC client, courtesy of @BakaChocolate. pic.twitter.com/KBQo0XF4BT

The person who has been in charge of showing the operation of Google Play Games has been Mishaal Rahman who has published a video on Twitter where you can see the interface with which this service arrives. At the moment and logically, the contents are in the languages of these three regions and, in addition, in English.
At the design level, Google Play Games for Windows is very reminiscent of a traditional game launcher such as that of Epic Games. Of course, it is much simpler and it is logical, the contents to be displayed are Android titles. In addition, throughout the video you can see that there is a settings section in which to edit profile parameters.
But it would not only serve to edit the profile and change the basic data, you could also check the achievements obtained within the games. We will have to wait for users from these countries to try the service to be able to take into account its functionality and, also, if it is worth having so many other services.
The expectations placed on Google Play Games are quite high considering that what it offers is the possibility of having a continuous experience when playing a title on Android. The games that have been seen in the beta version are Asphalt 9. Legends, Rise of Empires: Ice and Fire, Summoners War, Idel Heroes and many more.
