Netflix stops again in our darkest past with its new documentary series

Netflix stops again in our darkest past with its new documentary series

March 24, 2022 technolgy-news No Comments

The new Netflix documentary series wants to put all the points on the accident that occurred on the Ramblas in Barcelona on August 17, 2017.

Netflix seems to have taken a liking to series focused on tragic events in the history of Spain, we already saw it with its series based on the Alcasser case and, now, it’s time his new proposal focuses on the attacks that occurred in Barcelona and Cambrils. The name of his new series is 800 meters.

Netflix’s proposal seems interesting at first glance and, taking into account the recent historical framework on which it focuses, it may even be too soon. On August 17, 2017, a van crossed the Ramblas of Barcelona at full speed, leaving 15 dead and 131 injured in the 800 meters it traveled.

That was not the only attack that occurred during that day, in Cambrils a group of terrorists was preparing to continue with what had been started on the Ramblas. The event ended with all five of them killed and with the situation under control. All this launches the documentary series that will tell in detail what happened.

In fact, despite the fact that on August 17 the media and social networks were covered with videos, photographs and details; the creators of the documentary series assure that they have unpublished material and that they manage to bring the narrative of the documentary to life. And, it is that, it seems that they have material from the terrorists themselves.

Being a documentary series, it is clear that it is quite far from being a report and, therefore, what is expected is that the treatment is not simply a narrative of what happened. What the creators have commented is that the motivations of the terrorist group will be investigated and why they decided to attack that day.

Amazon already has the Fire TV Stick compatible with 4K resolution for sale in Spain. It releases a new interface and allows you to view content in Ultra HD. In addition, the remote control with Alexa is included as standard.

The expectations are quite high and, in fact, it may be one of the most important premieres in documentary series with a theme focused on events in Spain. At the moment, it only remains to wait for the premiere to see if they meet expectations. and, above all, if the story is adapted to the complex subject matter to deal with.

We will not have to wait long to see the complete documentary series on Netflix, Friday being the day chosen for the premiere. We leave you a direct link to the main Netflix page where the series appears so that if you are interested, you can set a reminder for the platform to notify you when it is available.
