The Steam platform itself filters the release date of the new Among Us VR game
A leak on the Steam platform reveals the release date of Among Us RV. Possibly on April 20 with the celebration of the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, we will clear up any doubts.
Among Us is one of the most popular games available on PC, console and mobile, and it looks like fans of the Innersloth-developed game will be able to enjoy their unique experience in a whole new way with VR later this year.
At least that’s how the Steam platform itself has leaked, revealing that Among Us VR is currently in development and will be released on November 10.
The game was first announced at The Game Awards last December with a 30-second trailer showing off a fully 3D environment in which to get backstabbed. We leave it to you below.
“Play with 4-15 players online or over local WiFi as you try to prepare your spaceship for departure, but be careful because one or several random players among the crew are imposters hell-bent on killing everyone”summarizes the game itself.
Notably There has been no official announcement from Innersloth or Among Us VR developer Schell Games. (which has replaced Innersloth to create the VR adaptation), and there’s also no Steam store page for Among Us VR.
However, it has made more sense when the official Among Us VR Twitter account published the following tweet yesterday. With this on the table almost certainly that next April 20, when it takes place the Meta Quest Gaming Showcasewe will see news and perhaps a confirmation of this rumor.

As for the game in this new version and as we have seen in the trailer, you will have to complete the tasks by pressing buttons, grabbing cables or turning valves. It is not yet known how the impostors will carry out their actions of killing the rest but seeing how the missions are going to be carried out, it seems that it will be quite fun.
The game will be compatible with MetaQuest and PlayStation VR.
