The Freestyle: Samsung puts its portable projector up for sale in Argentina
Samsung presented its project in Argentina The Freestyle, which the company unveiled last January at the CES fair in Las Vegas. Now he will sell it in Argentina, although the price has not yet been revealed. It did confirm that it will include three months of Disney+ in the sale.
The Freestyle stands out from other projectors for its tubular design, similar to that of a directional wall lamp or roof. It has a 20,000 hour life LED lamp and full HD resolutionwith a refresh rate of 60 Hz, in addition to offering HDR.
Weight 700 grams and can be plugged into a battery via its USB-C port to be truly portable, though the battery must have a 20-volt output. But he also has a micro HDMI input and integrated Wi-Fi, so it works like a Smart TV. In fact, the company included the same processor as in a television, so all the classic video streaming applications are available, in addition to accepting Bixby or Alexa voice commands.
The projector has auto keystone (to maintain the aspect ratio of the image), Self Leveling (to level it even if the project is tilted) and autofocus, while offering dynamic color, support for HDR 10 and 360 sound with its built-in 5-watt speaker. According to the company, it can project video from 30 to 100 inches without losing quality.
The Freestyle comes in various colors, has a ambient mode to illuminate an environment passively with a color or an image (for a party, for example) and has a cover -sold separately- to take it anywhere.
