Realme GT2 Explorer Master Edition is now official. Realme has launched its first smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset — Realme GT2 Explorer Edition smartphone in China. It is also the world’s first smartphone to pack LPDDR5X RAM which is 20% more power efficient. The high-end smartphone also features dual VC cooling Max.
The premium smartphone sports a suitcase-like rear design which has been created by the popular fashion designer Jae Jung. The smartphone comes with classic straight edges with corner guard edges and metal rivets. The Chinese smartphone maker has used environmentally friendly recycled lychee skin, Aviation-grade aluminum frame and a glass back. The smartphone packs an FHD+ display and it is also the first phone to have an X7 independent graphics chip which comes with ultra-low-latency frame insertion technology, to create a high-frame rate experience.
The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of 3,499 yuan and it can be purchased in Ice White and Black color options. The smartphone will go on sale in China starting July 19. Realme has not yet revealed any details about the India launch of the smartphone.
Realme GT2 Explorer Master Edition features
Realme GT2 Explorer Master Edition sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
Realme GT2 Explorer Master Edition runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI 3.0. The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual pressure sensitive gaming triggers.
Realme GT2 Explorer Master Edition sports a triple rear camera setup which comprises 50MP main camera with f/1.88 aperture, 50MP 150° Ultra Wide Lens with Samsung JN1 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 2MP microscope camera. Front is home to a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.5 aperture.
The smartphone is backed by a 5050mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
